Therapy Intensives for Trauma, Spiritual Abuse, & Story Healing
Deep healing, faster transformation. One to three-day intensives for those ready to reclaim their story, body, and voice.
What Is a Therapy Intensive?
Focused Therapy for When You’re Ready to Go Deeper
Therapy intensives are immersive, structured sessions that help you process complex trauma, religious wounding, or emotional overwhelm in a safe, contained environment. Instead of weekly sessions over months, intensives offer deep healing in just one to three days.
Ideal for individuals who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or are ready to process unresolved experiences through trauma-informed, narrative-focused care.
You Might Be a Good Fit If You’re Experiencing:
Chronic emotional distress or burnout
Religious trauma, purity culture shame, or spiritual confusion
Fear-based beliefs that still shape your choices
A need to process painful stories from childhood, family, or faith communities
A desire to heal faster than traditional therapy allows
A plateau in your current therapy work

Why Intensives Work:
A Transformational Investment in Your Healing
Therapy intensives offer the time and space to go beyond symptom management and into the roots of your pain. With focused support and fewer interruptions, intensives help you:
Make meaningful breakthroughs
Integrate somatic and emotional healing
Develop practical tools for self-trust and nervous system regulation
Leave with greater clarity, peace, and connection to your story
Types of Intensives Offered
Which Intensive Feels Right For You:
-
These intensives are designed for those who have been harmed in the name of God. Whether you were raised in a high-control religion, endured shame-based purity culture, or were silenced by spiritual leaders, this experience offers space to:
Engage stories of harm through narrative-focused trauma therapy
Deconstruct internalized spiritual fear, shame, and obligation
Reclaim agency, trust your body, and redefine your relationship to faith or spirituality
Heal attachment wounds shaped by religion, family, and power dynamics
This work is especially meaningful for exvangelicals and deconstructing Christians, survivors of religious trauma, and those healing from spiritual manipulation or fear-based theology of various religions, cults, or high-control faith settings.
-
Inspired by the work of Dan Allender and the Allender Center, these intensives are for those ready to explore the deep stories that have shaped their identity, relationships, and view of themselves.
Engage and unpack the stories of harm from childhood, family, or community
Name the false narratives you've carried and what was stolen in the process
Reauthor your story with truth, compassion, and embodied agency
Repair the relationship between your heart, your story, and your body
Story work intensives are ideal for those looking to explore early attachment trauma, abuse, emotional neglect, and identity loss.
